National History Day Pathfinder
National History Day This pathfinder is a guide for Needham High students who are are working on a project for National History Day. National History Day is a project similar to the Intel Science Fair . Students in groups of up to three or as individuals complete a project on a yearly theme. Students have several modalities to choose from, including developing a movie, museum display, play, or webpage. 'NHD' rules do additionally allow for papers, but Needham itself does not permit students to choose that option. The 1700 hundred person high school has approximately two hundred students and one hundred and twenty projects completed annually. The project runs from mid November through early February. At school-wide fair takes place in early February, with the top fifteen-seventeen projects moving on to regionals.
